Thread Software is a software company that has developed Legal case management software on Microsoft 365. Our software is a multi-tenant SAAS platform built in Microsoft Azure.

The Role –

Thread is looking for a data specialist, you will be responsible for all our data transitions for our new onboarding customers. When a new customer is signed, we typically have to migrate data from their old platform to our platform. You will be responsible for the migration from end to end. You will also be tasked with building the processes and procedures to ensure the “Data team” are running as efficient as possible – as we grow we would envisage adding people to this team. You will also be involved in numerous data projects.

Role Summary

1. Manage day to day migrations for customers both for onboarding and offboarding customers.

2. Work with the onboarding team to schedule and co-ordinate timelines for new onboarding clients

3. Assist onboarding team / sales team with data analysis for new clients systems.

4. Create and define how the data team will operate in the business and set out the processes and procedures.

5. Assist with internal data requirements such as internal reporting or other data related queries.

6. Work with the Head of Development to define best practices for Thread Software’s database architecture and the scaling of said platform.

7. As the team grows, mentor & lead the data team and ensure all targets are being met.

Skills Required

1. You will be able to work independently and as part of team: receive instructions, verify understanding and then be left to complete.

2. You will have good communication skills so as you can discuss migrations / challenges with other members of the onboarding team or the customers themselves.

3. You have an excellent understanding of SQL – building queries / importing & exporting data – tuning sql queries and troubleshooting issues.

4. Strong experience manipulating data, transposing data, and moving data between databases

5. You have a good working knowledge of scripting tools such as powershell / python etc

6. A working knowledge, or desire to learn fast, of Microsoft Azure (Managed SQL / Data Factory / Power BI)

7. You can problem solve. When a problem is presented you are able to dissect the problem and produce multiple solutions or options.

8. You are keen to learn and help Thread Software grow in the market.

Nice to Have

· Power BI / Data Analysis / Data Modelling

· Windows Server skills

· C# Development skills or language understanding.

· Microsoft Office 365 deployment / management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €45,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
